OK, I have a surprise  The "downloads" button at the top of ZTUF is now working, and will take you to the ALL NEW DOWNLOADS DATABASE!!  No more searching around for your favorite downloads!  At the moment, there is only one item in there, and it is the brand new, just released today, Clay-themed Garden Pack by myself  The rest of the downloads will be loaded over time, so be patient whilst the staff works on it.

Also, the NO-POSTING requirement for downloads is STILL IN EFFECT!!  This could end at any time, so hurry on over if you're post-shy and check out what ZTUF has to offer!

We have a lot going on over at Zoo Tycoon Unleashed[/SIZE]. The Arcade[/SIZE] is back!!!!!!  Come check out all the fun games and see if you can snag one of the high scores! We have a great new download section with some wonderful new downloads and more coming soon. There is no longer a minimum post requirement to download but you must be registered and logged in to enjoy either of these features.

The new suitability guides are up and running with more information than ever before.  Be sure to check out the Suitability Screenshot Contest being hosted by Zendivine.   A new one will be starting Feb 3rd.

We have monthly screenshot contests for ZT1 and ZT2. There are a few days left to enter the ZT2 contest New Year, New Life. A new ZT1 SS Contest will begin Feb 1st.

 A new Exhibit Building Workshop will be starting soon.  Workshop #16 will be the Iguanadon and Plateosaurus

A very fun contest that is just getting started isScrappy's Marvelous Mystery Menu Challenge . You have to check this out, it’s so much fun.

Things have started to heat up over at ZTUF.  As you know, our Around The World 3 celebration is May 19 & May 20th.

If you like the challenge of ZT1 zoo building then you need to check out the United Global Conservation Effort  being hosted by Atlantean Queen.  You’ll need your thinking caps for this one, but what fun it will be!

Things are really starting to gear up for the Around The World 3 celebration.  

The Banner Contest deadline has been extended until April 30th. Put on those designing caps and create something wonderful. Read all about it HERE.

There are a few more days to sign up for the ZT1 Community Zoo and  the ZT2 Community Zoo.  
These are so much  fun and I encourage you to look into it .

Both of the Community zoos are in full swing.  Both have a few open areas if you still want to join in the building and creative fun!

And the ATW3 events are really moving.  But I'll let Marlizdu fill you in on those.

I wanted to share that we have posted two downloads that may be of interest to ZT2 players.

The first is a Persistent Awards Unlock that you can install in a separate profile so that you have one totally unlocked profile for building contest zoos and screenshots, and one that you can track your own progress through the Campaigns and Challenges.  The end result of installing this unlock is the same as the unlocks posted here by rednotdead.  The method for installing them is a bit different.  Unlocked items include:

Safari-themed scenery and buildings
Jungle-themed scenery and buildings
Endangered Species-themed scenery and buildings
Flower Post
Flower Arch
Sundial
Globe Statue
Gilded Panda Statue
Decorated Jeep Tour Gate
Cat Climber
Conservation Breeding Center
All of the Campaigns are unlocked and checked off as completed.

The second item of interest is a way to unlock the Current Game Awards.  In a Freeform game, not all the goodies are unlocked.  This download unlocks these items.  If you have never seen the blimp in the game, check this out! You're in for a real treat!  Unlocked items include:

*Twentieth Anniversary Award -- Keep your zoo open for 20 years -- Unlocks the Blimp,
*Endangered Babies Award -- Successful births of 10 endangered species -- Unlocks the Animal Babies Statue,
*Endangered Species Release Effort Award -- Release 20 endangered species to the wild -- Unlocks decorative exterior zoo walls and caps,
*Endangered Species Award -- Adopt and keep 20 endangered species -- Unlocks decorative exterior zoo wall columns.

The items are unlocked but the awards are not checked off as won, so you can still enjoy watching your progress as you build your zoo.

The fun has started!!  We have many contests running right now and you still have time to join the fun! Check it out. Zoo Tycoon Unleashed

*15 Zoo-building and screenshot contests, 9 based on ZT1, 6 based on ZT2, all with prizes provided by Blue Fang.  We have ZT2 and ZT2 ES games all signed by many of the folks at Blue Fang, as well as hats and posters.

*Quizzes about ZT1, ZT2, Biomes and Our Natural World, Pop Culture.  Win a ribbon based on your correct answers.

*Disney/Animation Contest with several Disney-themed prizes!

*Speedy Bingo will be making a return!!  Atlantean Queen has created special cards and avatars and banners for prizes. You’ll need to request a bingo card before May 18th.

*Arcade Tournaments will be running throughout the day.  Test your skills against the other members.

*There are loads of new UCIs that our unleashed designers have been working on since January.  Look for items from African raptor, Atlantean Queen, Genkicoll, Soopermum, Stormy  and Ratbag OZ. There will be items specifically designed for each of the biomes.

*Member title changes will be available throughout the day.  Choose a title that expresses your individuality.

*Community Zoos are done in both ZT1 and ZT2 worlds, so be ready for them to be unleashed.  It's always fascinating to see all the different styles tied together into a single zoo.

*Do you like Jigsaw puzzles?  AQ has put together a series of "jigs" based on various biomes and ZT2 scenes.

*Charitable Contribution Request -- The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo...the ONLY zoo in America that performs entire off-site animal evacuations (300+ exotic animals) during hurricanes...you may have seen them on Animal Planet series "The Little Zoo That Could."

kTesch, the forums, downloads, gallery, arcade, PM system -- all seem to be working fine now.  They were down for a few hours last night after Around the World Day for a software upgrades.  With all the different modules, it takes quite a while now for Zoxaeus to complete the upgrade, and she did need a few hours of sleep after the ATW Day activities. :wink:
