Over the next 2-3 days we will be carrying out important maintenance on the Unleashed forums. Most of the work will be behind the scenes so you shouldn't notice any real changes to the forums.

As the maintenance being carried out could be effected by certain components on the forums we have had to turn off certain functions. These are as follows:

1. No new registrations
2. Downloads Database has been turned off
3. Gallery has been turned off
4. Arcade has been turned off

We appreciate that many members download a lot of our files and that a lot of members enjoy spending time in our arcade. All that we ask is that over the next few days you remain patient with us while the maintenance takes place.

During this time you may experience board down time (The forums turned off, in which case you will see a message saying so), you may get an 'Error' message when trying to connect to the forums or you may experience no problems reaching the Unleashed forums at all. If you do experience any of these problems try checking back either in a few hours or the next day.

The Unleashed forums will be turned offline for the first part of the maintenance which could take anywhere from a couple of hours to a day. As soon as the first part is over we will turn the forums back online.

We would like to thank our wonderful members in advance for their continued patience and co-operation whilst we try to make Zoo Tycoon Unleashed a better place for everyone.

Just a note to let you all know that the Admins are working hard on getting ZTUF back online!  Zoxaeus is having a few software issues, but everything is safe and will be back as soon as possible.

You should have your validation email now. If not, please post a note in the bugs and suggestions forum under new registration problems and we will get it sorted out for you. There was a problem with the validation software, and I know that validation emails were not going out and that has since been fixed.

Can anybody please tell me what's going on with Zoo Tycoon Unleashed now? I just got a 500 Internal Server error page, plus a 404 Error  with it at the bottom. I've already sent an e-mail to Zoxaeus at the site.

I've been getting "overflow errors when trying to post. If I hit the browser's back button about 5 times, I get back to the forum, and my post is there, but since I'm no typing genuis, I'm not trying to post a new entry in under 30 seconds, like the error indicates. What up with this?

If you've never attended an Unleashed Around the World Day, then you don't know what you're missing.
Until you've been here, you cannot imagine how much fun there is in online games, puzzles, bingo, speedy design contests, and all the other fun activities.

Most people enjoy a contest -- the chance to compete in fun, learn new things, stretch a bit, and show off! Unleashed is happy to announce that we have several new talented and creative contest hosts. You'll want to visit soon and check out the new contests that Howlingmoon (affectionately known as Moonie), OldLadyMoose (OLM), taysha, and TazLover (Taz) have dreamed up to challenge us all! We have monthly contests for both ZT1 and ZT2: Zoo of the Month (ZOTM), screenshot, suitability, photo, and some special ones too! Marlizdu (marli), our seasoned veteran, always has something new and exciting when it comes to ZT1 contests, and our new "Fab Four" will challenge us with ZT2 contests and ZT1 suitability contests, with PZ and Anya chiming in from time-to-time too! Don't miss the fun!

Unleashed proudly announces our new Designer/DRT - Stormy!
Stormy has been a designer at Unleashed for approximately a year, concentrating on beautiful UCIs for ZT1. You may have some of her gorgeous paths in your game already. With a new year, come new ideas and inspiration! Stormy is now creating outstanding UCIs for ZT2 and plans to wow us all with some very amazing ... well, you'll just have to visit and see! This talented and creative artist has many exciting plans for more ZT2 UCIs and will be unveiling her creations in the near future. Come visit, see, and be wowed!

We have lots of new information, guides, and walkthroughs for ZT2, and designs for ZT1 -- more about them in the upcoming weeks.

A little bit of business --- In our recent forum software upgrade, we lost our Download Database.
It is being restored now, and we welcome you to look through what our designers have created and find something to add to your ZT1 or ZT2 game.
We also lost our distinctive berry-and-gold skin, which is being modified to work with the new software.
Some members have also had intermittent problems with their computer security systems -- you may need to tweak your settings to be able to access the forum.
