My favorite exhibits are:

Rainforest animals:

javan rhino, Okapi, Bongo, Asian elephants, Baird tapirs, Styracosaurus,Gorilla, Chimpanzee, Orang utan, Crested Gibbons , Malayan tapirs (aim) and mandrils.

Rainforest animals:
Bengal tigers, Sumatran tiger (ST), Black panther, Nile crocodiles and TYRANNOSAURUS.:innocent:

Wetlands:
Florida panthers, jaguars, cape buffallo, pgymy hippo and hippotatamus, nile monitors.

Savanah:
African elephants, Masai giraffe, Black rhino, Zebra, Zebroids (mikaboshi), Giant Sable antelope, Schimtar horn orynx, White rhino, Cheetah, wildebeast, Reticulated giraffe (KK), Ostritch.

Grassland,
American bison, wild horses, triceratops, carribou, secretary bird.

I have some really neat ones! I try to only mix animals whose real life ranges cross.:

:

- Asian elephant/Red panda/Giant panda (The Asian elephant's biome bar is in the low greens in temperate forest, and Asian elephants once lived in China.)
- Lion/Black leopard (The lion's biome bar in rainforest is in the low greens.)
- Cariobu/Musk ox/American bison/Moose (All their ranges do or once used to cross.)
- Secretary bird/Ostrich

I try to use these as much as possible.:laughing:

I don't like to use recolours, downloadable varients, or user-made animals. Although I do have the dino danger pack. My favorite mixes for each biome are:

ALPINE: Ibex/Markhor, Gelada/Ethiopian Wolf
BENTHIC: Goblin Shark/Whale Shark, Goblin Shark/Great White Shark
BOREAL: Moose/Triceratops, Grizzly Bear/Grey Wolf
COASTAL: Green Sea Turtle/Sea Otter, Californian Sea Lion/Sea Otter, Green Sea Turtle/Bottlenose Dolphin, Bottlenose Dolphin/False Killer Whale
DESERT: Dromedary Camel/Scimitar Horned Oryx, African Spurred Tortoise/Dromedary Camel
GRASSLAND: Secretary Bird/Ratel, American Bison/Przewalski's Horse, American Bison/Ratel
PELAGIC: Leatherback Sea Turtle/Blue Marlin
REEF: Manta Ray/White Tip Reef Shark
SAVANNA: Thompsons Gazelle/Wildebeest/Zebra/Reticulated Giraffe/Giant Sable Antelope/Black Rhino/African Elephant (need a really big exhibit)
SCRUB: Komodo Dragon/Gerenuk/Gemsbok, White Rhino/Asian Elephant

I tried to make one big exhibit with all animals but it failed.

.Anyways I mix every animal that has the same biome exept dinosaurs.

I usually mix animals that go well together due to the fact that they are natural neighbors coexisting together. This makes a natural feel for your zoo.:wink:

Whenever I use the biome square map, i will do massive mixed exhibits in each corner. I change most of the desert biome to scrub and i change half of the boreal forest biome to temperate forest. I can get most of the animals in the game in the zoo that way. I then try to include a themed guest area in each corner.

I just love any kind of Scrub mix. My favorite animals in the game are scrub animals. How many animals are in scrub?

I like to do almost any mixed exhibits, but I like mixing penguinan's penguins together and I also like giraffe/asian elephant/okapi exhibits. It works well with the biome being grassland/savanah/tropical rainforest, as the asian elaphant like rainforest. Another of my favorites is African Buffalos and flamingos.:original:

Actually, it's 10. Gemsbok and Red Kangaroo as the original 2, Asian Elephant download makes 3, Komodo Dragon and Galapagos Giant Tortoise makes 5 thanks to the ES pack, and the AA pack adds on Aardvark, Caracal, Gerenuk, Meerkat and White Rhinoceros...making 10 overall.

My favourite mixed animal exhibit is zebra/thompsons gazelle/both girrafes. Normally I have the elephants on their own as well as the rhino.

once i'm able to download animals, im going to make really cool exhibits. here are some of my ideas:

savannah: elephant, all 3 giraffes, sable antelope, roan antelope, gazelle, zebra, ostrich, warthog, wildebeest, zorilla, tinamou, gemsbok, gerenuk, 3 kinds of rhinos, lesser flamingo, leopard tortoise, kudu, nilgai, topi, bontebok, all desert herbivores, fennec, buffalo, tortoises, meerkat, and beira

rainforest: asian elephant, all gibbons, javan and sumatran rhinos, malayan tapir, sun bear, saola, clouded leopard, orangutan, chimp, gorilla, okapi, lemurs, bongo, baird's and mountain tapirs, poison and tree frogs

alpine: markhor, ibex, pyrenean ibex, yak, vicuna, japanese macaque, takin, chamois, bezoar, gelada

crocodile exhibit: nile, orinoco, and siamese crocodiles, american alligators, carribean and greater flamingos
