I still recommend you create the folder. That way you'll know where to find the user created download if something goes wrong.

I can't get it to work either. I did exactly what harleyeclipse said, and it still won't work. After you go to C:/documents and settings/All Users/Application Data/Microsoft Games/Zoo Tycoon 2/Downloads, there is still another folder there called zootycoon_com_zt2_1033. Should I put it in there or just in the downloads folder?
Also, when I go to Application Data in the All Users thing, it is kind of faded out. Does that mean anything or does it matter?

That 'kind of faded out' is an indication that that folder is a hidden one :happy

I downloaded them in the correct folder, extracted the files to the correct place... so why don't they show up in the game???? please help! :crazy

I don't believe they've addressed the problems with international downloads. However, being from liverpool I can only assume you downloaded an English version of the updates so I probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

There have been a few (!!) posts about this in ZT2 download support. I thought I had worked it out, as I have been able to use all the zoos I have downloaded, and the Somalian Mule (can't use its proper name!!) But now I have downloaded the forest elephant and it isn't working.... :angry . But have a look in download support, l&l, and you might find it helps.

I downloaded the Somalien Wildass for the ZT2 and I unziped it and put in the download section of ZT2 and it does not appear. What am I doing wrong. Please give me the steps in getting it to appear in the game.Please let me know as soon as possible.

Did you read this thread already :? If you did and followed the instructions and it still doesn't work I can't help you any futher (I don't own ZT2). but then maybe someone else can....

Installed properly you have tyo have a certain amount of star rating in your zoo before the animal will appear.

You go into the downloads section (the link is at the top of the page) go to the downloads index, go to what section you want, find the animal you want, and then just hit "Download from Ogre's Net" Hope this helps

save here. Make sure the file is unzipped. If you are downloading a zoo its /documents and settings// your user name/application data/ microsoft games zt2/ default profile/saved games

you don't have to unlock animals in free form,

The Siberian Tiger isn't in the game I downlaoded it and installed it the way I did all of the other silinseantomcat ones and it dosn't work
BTW I don't get what he means by' your new adopt bengal and in game bengal will be smaller'

I recently tried to download the siberian tiger for zt2 but i don't know how to use it. On zt1 i used to downlaod the files straight into the updates folder and they worked but how do i download the zt2 files coz there is no updates folder.

I downloaded the file into the zoo tycoon 2 main folder but i can't get it to work.

Please help

First, save your download on a file ( My Documents etc. ) Then move the download onto your local disc ( or zt2 if there is an icon ) You must let your firewall accept the download and download the patch in the same way first. Sorry if this is a bit complicated.

Well all the spelling isn't quite right on that one, so if you typed it in directly, there might be problems, BTW where is the address bar on My Computer? People talk about it all the time, but I don't seem to have one :huh
