i'm starting a new series of avatars: Birds of the World!
each week i will change my avatar to a different bird, the name of which will be under the avatar. this week: the micronesian kingfisher!

Aww...I love cats. That one is really cute. I changed my avvie a whole uuuuhhhh...one time. Just as a joke for orangemonkey and then changed it back. Could someone help me find an avvie with a view of a giant sauropod as if you were standing on the ground looking up at its massive neck and torso? Long shot but I would appreciate it.

ha ha, thanks! it all started when i went to the national zoo, i decided to write down all the species there, and since there were mostly birds, it all kinda went along from there.

thanks, Rosina's Cat! today's bird: the Palawan peacock pheasant, probabyl one of my favorite birds. oh, and i need to add the takahe to me list of birds. at this rate, the series should be done... in four months!
