i dont know about another penguin, but a true seal wouldve been nice cough(leopardseal)cough. and i think youre right about the goblin shark mika, but we needed something other than sharks for benthic. (personally, i dont think the whale shark should even be in benthic.

Although I think this list of animals is cool, it could have been cooler. The Goblin Shark and False Killer whale aren't that well known, and the Pilot whale and the Beluga are too similar. I would have scrapped the Goblin Shark, False Orca and Pilot whale and replaced them with three of the following.

Sperm Whale - Pelagic
Southern Elephant Seal - Coastal
Leopard Seal - Tundra
Hooded Seal - Tundra
South American Sea Lion - Coastal
Marine Iguana - Coastal

I agree with the tiger shark,coelocanth,marine iguana,leopard seal,and the elephant seal.I think a sperm whale would be a little to large.Everything else should be either user-created,bonus downloads,or in a premimum download pack.

Actually the False Killer Whale is very well known, just as well known as the Beluga Whale.  They have False Killer Whales in SeaWorld Florida.

I personally think the great white shark should really be coastal/pelagic and the whale shark pelagic. A giant squid would so deeply dissapoint me (and a lot of other people, as Steve said), and it would DEFINATELY not be in pelagic. Benthic or nothing. i say the whole benthic biome and goblin shark shouldn't have been included, and instead a marine iguana for coastal.

I'm making a wishlist agin, aren't I? Oh well.

Overall, I think this is one covered MOST of the marine animals people wanted. I don't care if the pilot whale and beluga look similar - no offence, but does anyone complain about non-meshed user made downloads?

That's because a lot of users can't mesh, and they make their downloads for free. BF can and they charge us. If they gave me MM2 for free, I wouldn't complain. If they're going to charge me good money for it, they have to make it worth the purchase. I don't complain about free bonus downloads, and I think they're just marvelous, but I feel they should work harder on their expansions.

I think the goblin sharks should be smaller and pinker, because they are pink in reality. The whale sharks should also 'sieve' more often.

Can sea otters actually perform tricks?

But really for me there's just one think I HATE about Marine Mania - the crocodiles can't go underwater. Everything else I'm OK with.

Hmm... where to begin... Ocean sunfish, Tiger shark, Basking shark and Humpback whale should be pelagic, Sperm whale, Coelocanth and Giant Squid should be benthic and Mako shark should be reef.  I'm not contradicting you, I'm just saying.
