Pelagic I have heard of.  That's just a fancy word for Open Ocean.

You mean its in the dictionary?:laughing: I'm kidding but not really, I just knew that one term from, I don't know where, but not from the dictionary:laughing:  Never thought to look there, I just hate how the school year makes you loose your mind:loony:

I wonder how dark the water for Benthic is?  I remember seeing the Hammerhead in some twilight like water, could that have been it?

A lot of us in the beta weren't sure what benthic or pelagic was.  Benthic is the deepest water, and I know the Great White Shark, the Whale Shark, and the Goblin Shark go into it.  Pelagic was the open ocean.  I do remember (since I was the one that figured it out  ) that all of the MM2 show animals can go into Pelagic without complaining.  I actually created a show tank with 8 individual tanks attached to it.  : :P :  I wanted a show with all of the show animals, but they have to have a common biome in the show tank or they complain.  Try putting an orca in desert.  They aren't happy.  :whistling   I'm guessing the pelagic biome as a common biome will be changed in the full version, though.  :crying:

FYI, from my tests during the beta, I the manatee was the most versatile.  It was happy in quite a few biomes.  I put it in with the hippos and flamingos quite often.  I'm sure this might have changed, too.

Being a Beta tester I can tell you that's Pelagic water.

This expansion sounds like it's going to be the best yet, I can't wait till it comes out!:woot:

BTW:What do the Benethic Rocks look like? and is there really any plants in Pallagic considering it's just open ocean?

Benthic will probably be the Golbin Shark and Pilot Whale. Maybe even the White Shark.

If I recall correctly, the Benthic rocks are dark colored, but there aren't any Pellagic plants or rocks.

What are the benthic plants?

And would it be possible for a list of animals that includes there in game biomes?

I don't think the benthic biome would have plants - there isn't very much light down there lol! I just cannot wait for this expansion though!!! BTW do the other plants also have variants?
