I don't think the benthic biome would have plants - there isn't very much light down there lol! I just cannot wait for this expansion though!!! BTW do the other plants also have variants?

No, no plant variants. We'll have to make them.

The fan coral in the demo does have varients, but it was the only one.

Yes, there are actually noticable anenome and fan coral varients.:woot:

What are the sections for the new biomes (by which I mean like the land biome sections: snow, shallow water, deep water etc. but with water)?

The kelp sounds interesting, i wonder if the dolphins will break bits off and play with them like in real life.

so, in the trial version, the tussac grass and the ocean plants wave around, u know, like with the current/wind. do u think that the land grasses, like African daisies and other plants along with trees will move with the wind, too? i hope so!

How do you think old animals would be in new biomes?

Yes so far most of the plants and all of the trees wave around like there is a breeze.
*amazing*  Also I dont think it was mentioned but on the reef rocks the medium and large all have yellow tangs swiiming around and another fish playing in the rocks as well. I cant wait for RND to make the rocks connectable so it'll really look like a reef.  And alot of the water folige has varients.:party5:

yeah, the biomes are great, i love them all. but i am somewhat suprised.(and maybe even annoyed) by the lack of folliage and rocks for the pelagic biome. there should at least be rocks, everytime i build an exhibit, it just feels empty.(espescially(sp?) with the marlins, they hardly want anything for enrichment to start with.

The reason the palegic biome does not have anything is because it is open ocean. Techincally there should not be a floor at all, but of course that is impossible. It would be quite unrealistic to have any plants or rocks because there simply are none in the open ocean. It is too bad though because I agree, the exhibits are bland

i see your point with the foliage,(but dont they have floating algae or something? i guess im just desperate for more full exhibits but with rocks, if they can have land in the open ocean,(much less an ocean floor:blink:) they could have rocks. i just like the zt2 rocks. especially the new reef ones.
