Don't breed crocs unless you watch them closely enough to move the young'n out the moment he goes adult.

Also crocs tend to go for animals before food bowls when they get hungry, a problem I haven't had yet with any other predator (as in, if they're hungry and are surrounded by food bowls and there's 1 herbavore nearby, their priority is the herbavore. The big cats tend to go for the food dishes first as do the canines in ES.)
