This area of the country is known for their beautiful gardens, ornate stone walls and cast iron.

In the center of the entrance is the Fountain of Hope. Many wishes are placed here by the guest.

The first guests have arrived. They are extremely happy to have their zoo back after all they have been through.

This is the first exhibit.
The Giraffe is for Vision. They can see farther because of their height. The people learn to look into the future with a positive attitude.

The people of Cleveland, Ohio donated to the Delta Zoo an elephant fountain placed near the elephant exhibit

The elephant was chosen to be added to the Delta Zoo as a symbol of strength for rebuilding the once strong and beautiful zoo.
After rebuilding efforts and adding the elephant exhibit donations were up to: donations-$8,037 admissions/sales $1,352. The month now is April of year one.
And we have one giraffe on the way!

Earl, I'd like to help too please. If possible, I'd like to build a lion exhibit. The lion represents the strength, beauty & courage of the Delta region.
