Hi all, new to Zoo Admin here, and I have a question.

On the main site you can download custom animals for your zoo that people have made, what's the program for Zoo Tycoon 2 that you need, and is it compatible with XP? Oh, and is it free? =P

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking :)

You don't require any additional programs for ZT2 to use the custom animals - you just need the ability to open .zip files which XP automatically does for you. :)  All the downloads here are free as well.  (Oh, but before someone else points this out, certain downloads require certain expansion packs, which are not free, but these downloads are labelled.)

If you're asking whether Zoo Tycoon 2 itself is compatible with XP - then yes :)

There IS no program to make animals for yourself, because it is far too complex a process. If you look for APE II in the Downloads area, you will find the only tutorial (currently, until mine is complete) for making animals.

I suggest you also click the link in my signature, that says "So you want to be a designer"
