Guests stay forever?

Okay, i understand that a guest will stay in the zoo as long as he/she has not seen everything. But say for instance you have a moose exhibit right at the front of your zoo. Guest #1 somes in, sees it, and continues its tour. You get bored with the moose, and decide to chance it to a Giraffe exhibit. Does it reset what the guest has seen? Does it go by what exhibits the guest has seen, or animals, or what?
