Title: rar files

Hi gang........sorry to sound thick but i'm fine downloading zip files but not sure what to do with rar files and how to get them into the game ?........ :wacko

I do not play Zoo Tycoon 2 myself, but I believe one would have to extract files out of a ".rar", similar to extracting files out of a ".zip". I recommend using the 7-zip program. It can work with ".rar" files, as well as with ".zip" and ".ztd" files. I have posts at Zookeeper's Lounge concerning using 7-zip with ".zip" and ".ztd" files:

The first post says why I chose 7-zip, how to get it, and how to install it. The 'Testing ".zip" and ".ztd" Files Using 7-zip' and 'Extracting Files from Inside ".zip" or ".ztd" Files Using 7-zip' posts would work with ".rar" files in addition to ".zip" and ".ztd" files.
