Title: Download Problems

If you are having a problem downloading a file please post it here so we can look into the problem and get it fixed. Please try to read through any other posts or use the search funtion at the top of the page to see if there is a post about the file you are having a problem with.

I ask this so duplicate posts can be avoided as much as possible.

Went to download area, to Building section...Tried to download the AR Holiday Home and The ZA administrtion Building.  Page came up saying "Not found on this Server" the third building was downloadable.

Thanks Caddie, hopefully Fern will see this and be able to add those 2 files. I believe she had updated them both. The last crash really did a lot of damage and loss so ot will take a while and friends like yourself to help us find things like this.

Thanks Caddie. Please let me know about missing pictures and broken links. Those two are fixed. We had lost the updates in the last crash.

Anything I can do to help, let me know.  I've been going through the various download sections updating some things I lost...when our computer was giving me problems...will let you know if I encounter any other problems.

I am confused by that link as it is a Download Directory link and goes to boards not a post.

Jay sorted it. I should have logged out to see what you could see. There was only one board you could see and I have turned it off since nothing works on it anyway. LOL So you won't be able to find it anyway.

When trying to download the Indricotherium for ZT1 from the extinct animals section, instead of the download coming up, it takes you to a webpage with a "404 page not found" message.

I've spent the last couple of days downloading quite a lot of ZA downloads.

When I tried uploading them all, as per the instructions given, my Zoo Tycoon CC crashed. So I took allll the files back out and started over, transferring them bit by bit to try and find the problem file.

After several attempts, it seems that the problem isn't any specific file as I have tried them in various combinations and that works fine... Up until I get a little more than halfway through my downloads.

So, I tried installing the rest with the "check for new items" on the game's start screen. CC crashed while loading up again.

Is it really because I have too many new objects? I am quite sure I had more user-created items uploaded on my old computer, which only had the original Zoo Tycoon on it,  but ... *shrugs*

Anybody have any solutions?

Welcome to ZA. :wel5

ZT has a number of limits, including how many ".ztd" files there can be. Since CC comes with more ".ztd" files than the original ZT, that leaves less for user made ones. At the Download Directory, there is a topic that talks about these limits and suggested solutions:

Also, do not use the "check for new items" option to load user downloads. That option creates extra files that can confuse ZT if you try to remove the user downloads later.

I have found some minor spelling errors in two of ZA's Packs. The Pig Pack, which is either from ZA or ZTC, not sure and the Bird Show Pack which is from ZT Center. The words Peccary from the Pig Pack is mispelled once and the word Eagle for the Martial Eagle in the Bird Show Pack. Thank you

All I can say is soon.
However there are other dragons out there. ZA has an emerald one and an orange one.
ZooTek Phoenix also has dragons in their Cryptids downloads.
