Title: How to make an Indoor Exhibit
Post by: ApolloTheEagle on February 07, 2009, 11:31:33 AM
....or an indoor building to be even more general
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQZFc4oorxc&feature=related
Note: I DID make this video myself, and this is on MY youtube channel, so no copyright infringment here :D I have other videos, so check them out :)

So, In lay-mans terms

1. Build the tank walls, but don't connect all of it, or the tank will fill.
2. Use clear tank walls as the fence, but again, making sure you don't connect it all or it will fill with water.
3. Make your exhibits.
4. Make a roof by going to Elevated Paths, then raise it up to the level you want. Then create the roof.
5. Raise/Lower the walls so it matches the roof.
6. Make the paths 100% transparent, then delete all of the supports.
7. Add the animals, toys etc...
8. You're done!

Also, how can you embed it? I've tried but it didn't work :P

Just a note to all of you who would like to embed video to your posts. At this time ZA doesn't have the space or the bandwith to permitt embedding of videos. BUT!, you are more then welcome to upload to youtube and post the link as ApolloTheEagle has done above.

I like the videos Par 1 and 2, I think there simply amazing but I'm used to making boring zoos not exotic designs or anything. Can someone help me out of this boring slammer. :ty

Excessive smilies edited out by LadyZookeeperNY--please keep your use of smilies down to a minimum of 5 or less per post. Thank You.

Although I have been amusing myself with indoor exhibits for a while this is definitely a huge step up in design with the glass walls and deleted columns.
THANKS!!
The tutorials (I am busy going through them now in the small hours of the morning instead of sleeping) are really excellent and I can't wait to get back to my latest project.
Alas, no sleep for me tonight...

p.s the music also rocks! :ty
