Exhibit Building Strategies
« on: October 11, 2008, 06:53:27 AM »
I use these tips in the following games.

For Scenarios:
-never use fences, use ditches
-if you don't like ditches, use cliffs surrounding 3/4 of the exhibit and put a fence around the front
-do not waste money on silly things, by the cheapest enrichment object, cheapest trees/plants/rocks
-focus on reaching your goal, if you ignore your goal you'll forget about it

For Challenges:
-use the tips from Scenarios section above
-try not to accept a difficult challenge unless you have the required items

For Freeform:
-dream, imagine, and believe
-there is nothing more fun than being able to do whatever you want in your zoo

I hope you enjoyed my tips. I use them and I have completed every scenario in the game.  ;D

I would just put it some big breeders and sell the babies to get money.

How can you sell them? The only options I get are Put Up for Adoption and Release to the Wild. Neither gets me money.

The destruction of the surrounding trees, plants, and rocks is a GREAT way to get some money, just like Gfh said.

If you have good animals, donations are a great source of income. I made over 20,000 in donations in two months from a peafowl.

I know how to make an exhibit, just put fences on 4 side then ta-da, you've made an exhibit,
ONLY buy the neccasary things in scenarios okay?

2 Sides of fences and the zoo walls. Cheap, cheap exhibits

I use them and I have completed every scenario in the game.  ;D

Here's another thing to try....

Make a marine exhibit with out a tank!

1)Take a normal fence and place it around an area (zoo walls make it cheaper).
2)Use the deep water option and fill the entire exhibit area with it.
3)Use the ditches option and lower the water down. Try to get it deep enough so that the animals are happy.

I did it with a dolphin exhibit  :dol and they were quite happy. You can make a layered effect by having one part of the exhibit the deepest and the other end the "shallow end". You can add tank walls if you want to so that guests can see the animals or use an elevated path.  :))
Name's Tucktuck but you can call me Tuck ;)

Have you ever been to the San Francisco Zoo's Lion exhibit, if you have, did you notice the ditches preventing the lions from getting out (more of climbing out).

If you follow what TuckTck87 said and use it with penguins or turtles it would work if you smooth out the terrain with the land to make it more realistic. It get's the animals really happy. For scenarios in all ZT2s there is a money cheat without having to download. I can't remember it just go to my website.
