Here's a tip! If you have a large animal and small animal mixed exhibit, like a giraffe and gazelle , you can use elevated pathways as a sort of filter across the exhibit. The giraffes cannot pass it while the gazelles can!

lol imagine the dinos with a elevated walkway that short
Guest 1: hey look theres a t-rex right over there and it sure seems hungry
T-rex 1: hey look a guest and just at the right hieght
Narrator: t-rex 1 walks over to guest 1 and guest 1 watches in amazement how the t-rex moves. T-rex 1 then stops looks at guest 1 and then guest 1 realizes his fate.     T-rex 1 grabs Guest 1 in the mouth and eats him whole  :sick
T-rex 1: that sure was tasty  :sick
Guest 1: it sure is dark in here
They better add some nice animatons for when dinos cross a guest on a elevated walkway! MUHAHAHA

Lol that reminds me of a part in JP2. Anyway fences working on this princalpe are used in africa to kept elephants out of areas but let smaller animals in.

« Reply #12 on: June 04, 2006, 09:24:26 PM »
Ok, I'm stuck.  How do I even make elevated pathways?  I simply have ZT2, can they be done on this game?  Sounds interesting.
TIA

zoomamamama, you need the Endangered Species expansion to make elevated paths.

And you then you have to paste it in MS paint or something else. Incase you got confused. I did this by accident once   I think it will work with anything taller than the lowest it can go. I'm gonna go experiment . For science!

I have a question, besides both giraffes and elephants, is there any other big animals that it can work on?

I imagine it would work on the dinos too - though I do wonder if they would see the path as a food tray!

Maybe, if you get it low enough, I've noticed that the camels are pretty big too, maybe it will work.

Nope AD, I never got my paths to go that low, maybe it will work on moose and camel if it is that low!!! P.S. Maybe it was just a earlier version of ES?

Does anyone know which animals the elevated path blocks?
