Not to mention that you can put wooden railing on stone elevated paths, and vice versa. It helps you mix things up a little. (At least I think you can do that)

Also, I believe, the different railings are for different types of animals. For example, over an exhibit with hippos, flamingos, beavers and such, you can use just a low railing, because they're not dangerous. Over an exhibit like polar bears, you need to put the high railing. Maybe that's why y'all are having trouble with people falling in or animals attacking your guests?  :erm
But, I don't think guests can see over the high one at all, so they wouldn't be able to view the carnivores if that were the case, and I have seen guests in herbivore exhibits too.  It's just weird,  isn't it?

In the ES pack, when you get a balloon for a baby animal, you can sell it for $250! :)

That is true, but if you place the balloons in the exhibit (of the animal who gave birth) beside the jeep track or in a place guests can see it from the sky tram when they go over the exhibit, the guests will have a happiness boost and donate more money!! :happy

Yeah, me, too!
And, when you get the Animal Babies statues, again, you can place them by the animal exhibit for the same effect, OR, like the balloons, you can sell them. (I think you get $500 for those - not sure about that) :huh

I found out that many animals can be contained with low fences such as wolverines, Komodo dragons, Nile crocdiles, Galapagos Giant Tortoise, Baird's tapir, Asian elephant, African elephant, black rhino, javan rhinoceros, hippopotamus, greater flamingo, Emperor penguin, and the koala. Did you guys know in the zookeeper's recomendations, the grey wolf has a low stone fence??? :huh  :lol

That is kind of odd.  You'd think that since they are dogs, and can jump over logs and such, that they would be able to escape from a low fence :huh I've put them in with the low stone/brick fence, and they never even tried to escape!

They really didn't escape? I thought that that low stone fence was a glitch. :lol

Well, for HEAVENS' SAKES!! I would never have thought of that, dootdoot! :shocked  I'll have to give that a try! It's much more attractive, but are you sure the carnivores (like grizzlies) don't escape?  :8

Guests can't see over high elevated fencing, so there's no point using it. :sad

I really don't see why BF and MS put in high fencing for the elevated paths. :lol

I think it was to give the animals more pivacy, but elevated paths don't seem to disturb animals at all anyway. :rolleyes

I just had a  thought... Maybe it's for when people build the paths low....remember the screenshots of the giraffes where the elevated paths were so low they could not walk under them??  :? Maybe that case would affect the animals' privacy level.
